OASAA cheer competition welcomes Tinora HS cheer team

Sunday February 9 2020, the Tinora High School Cheer Team hit the road to Anthony Wayne High School to compete in the OASSA Regional Northwest Cheer competition. The team has a well performing history in these competitions as they placed 2nd in their previous competition at Ayersville High School on February 2. Cheer member, Eve, was a finalist in the Tumble Off.

They are heading into this competition after supporting the boy’s basketball team during their win against Edgerton on February 7th. The cheer team was on the sidelines performing to help push the basketball team to victory of 49-40. Return to our blog to hear how the Rams finish in this competition.

An intense game happening tonight, Friday February 7 2020, as the Tinora Rams (10-9) are hosting the Edgerton Bulldogs (10-8). The boys basketball teams have similar records going into the game tonight with Varsity beginning at 7:20 pm. Tinora High School will be having a Pasta Dinner before the game to raise money for families and kids fighting cancer. The dinner will be 4:45-6 pm to help donate to Conquer Childhood Cancer Organization and will be ending in enough time for everyone to make it to the game tonight. Come get some good food and support the Rams Nation. Feel free to send us pictures at the events tonight to be featured on our social media.

Wrestler pins down his 100th win

Aaron Short, a senior at Tinora High School gained his 100th win on February 4th 2020 during his wrestling match. The Varsity team beat Defiance High School 58-20. The Rams’ next match will be on Saturday February 8th at Coldwater High School starting their first round of the match against Edgerton at 10 am.

Underdogs face off Blue Streaks

The Tinora Rams out of Defiance, Ohio are the underdogs against Archbold Blue Streaks in their upcoming men’s basketball game on Saturday February 1st at 7:30pm on Tinora High School’s home court. The Archbold Blue Streaks are coming to the game at an outstanding record of 11-4. While the Tinora Rams have a solid record of 8-6. The Rams are counting on a big turnout in the crowd to support their game. The Rams are building on their record to prepare for their rivalry game against Fairview on February 14th which is also Valentine’s Day. Meet our team

Hello everyone! This blog is created by three Defiance College students in a Sports Marketing class. Our page will be all about Tinora High School athletics, but first, here’s a little bit about us:

Tre’Ana King: Hello, my name is Tre’Ana King and I am a junior at Defiance College where I am majoring in journalism. I am originally from Toledo, Ohio and I am a member of the Defiance College volleyball team.

Nick Stifel: Hello my name is Nick Stifel. I am a 21 year old senior from Cincinnati,Ohio. I am currently attending Defiance College, majoring in Business Administration with a specialization in Management. I am also a member of the Defiance College Men’s Soccer team.

Jalen Peck: Hello my name is Jalen Peck. I am a sophomore at Defiance College and majoring in Sports Management. I am also apart of the Defiance College Men’s Basketball team.
