At home workouts to prepare for the Fall season

By Tre’Ana

As we have a few months off during this quarantine, we want to look into what we can do to prepare for the Fall as Tinora High School Athletics. Attached will be some at home exercises you can try out to stay in shape during this time.

Some ideas include: jump rope, run around the neighborhood, try a new ab circuit, squats, lunges, pushups, etc. Get creative with it! Use your stairs as step ups, use the wall as support during calf raises, and stay active.

Remember to stay safe, and keep practicing your sport. We will come out of this stronger than before! The off season is where we will go hard in silence but once the season is upon us, we can show what we got! Send in some of your favorite at home workouts to be featured on our page.

FEMALE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK!!! So…we couldn’t just pick one female player of the week because our cheer team got FIFTH PLACE at the State Championships. These girls have been proving themselves this whole season and it has not gone unnoticed! Congratulations girls enjoy this BIG accomplishment. The Tinora cheer team was the smallest team competing in the Championship against teams with 15 cheerleaders or more. The competition took place at St. John Arena on March 1st. They have built over the season as a family and team, proving themselves each and every competition and practice.
