At home workouts to prepare for the Fall season

By Tre’Ana

As we have a few months off during this quarantine, we want to look into what we can do to prepare for the Fall as Tinora High School Athletics. Attached will be some at home exercises you can try out to stay in shape during this time.

Some ideas include: jump rope, run around the neighborhood, try a new ab circuit, squats, lunges, pushups, etc. Get creative with it! Use your stairs as step ups, use the wall as support during calf raises, and stay active.

Remember to stay safe, and keep practicing your sport. We will come out of this stronger than before! The off season is where we will go hard in silence but once the season is upon us, we can show what we got! Send in some of your favorite at home workouts to be featured on our page.

Tinora Competition Cheer Team finished their previous OASSA competition by qualifying for States. The girls performed February 9th at Anthony Wayne High School for the Regional Competition. Each team had 7 minutes to perform in front of judges for their event. Some teams they competed against were: Ayersville High School, Genoa, Elmwood, and other Cheer teams from the Northwest Ohio area. The best performances were picked to continue on to the State Championships where they will compete for the title of best cheer team in Ohio. The Rams will compete in States Saturday February 29th at Pickerington North High School or Sunday March 1st at St. Johns Arena, OSU. Congratulations to the Tinora Rams Cheerleading team on this big accomplishment and good luck at State Finals!
